The short version

Planner: Smart Calendar is a personal almanac. Your plans, moods, chapters and voice notes are yours. We store the minimum we need to make the app work across your devices, we never sell your data, and we never use it to train advertising profiles.

1. Who we are

Planner: Smart Calendar ("we", "us") is the developer of the Planner: Smart Calendar mobile application.

2. What we collect

  • Account information — your email address and a unique user ID created when you sign in. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only the identifiers those providers share with us.
  • Your content — the plans, events, mood check-ins, chapters, and notes you create in the app.
  • Voice input — when you tap the microphone, audio is transcribed on-device or via Apple's speech services. We do not store raw audio on our servers; only the resulting text is saved to your Planner: Smart Calendar.
  • Diagnostics — basic crash reports and anonymized usage events (e.g. "opened Month view") so we can fix bugs and improve the app. No advertising identifiers.

3. What we do not collect

  • We do not collect your contacts, photos, or precise location.
  • We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, ever.
  • We do not use your content to train AI models.
  • We do not show third-party advertising.

4. How we use your data

We use the information above only to: provide and sync the Planner: Smart Calendar app across your devices, authenticate you, send notifications you've enabled, detect calendar conflicts, and improve reliability and performance.

5. Where it's stored

Your content is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication) under our project, encrypted in transit and at rest. Firebase acts as our data processor. You can read Google's privacy terms at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

6. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run Planner: Smart Calendar (currently Google Firebase for storage and authentication, and Apple for push notifications and Sign in with Apple). We require them to handle your data securely and only for the purpose of running our service.

We may disclose information if required by law, but we will push back on overly broad requests and tell you when we're legally allowed to.

7. Your rights

You can access, export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Account in the app. Deleting your account removes your content from our active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you also have rights under GDPR and the CCPA, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data authority.

8. Children

Planner: Smart Calendar is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you in the app before the changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

10. Contact

Questions or requests? Reach out through the in-app support option in Settings — a real person will reply.
